The end is nigh
The year 2004 is on the way out, and it’s time to get those calendars for 2005. Not everybody’s gone entirely electronic, and Austin’s ready for those who haven’t. The longest calendar tradition in town may be the Aztec calendars from El Azteca on East Seventh. Tesoros has customarily given away similar calendars to its good customers but always has them for sale at reasonable prices. Existing especially to brighten the outlook of those subject to enforced workplace cheer, there’s always the Austin worldwide headquarters of Despair, Inc., producers of demotivational products, including calendars. Demotivational products are the perfect antidote for those who have seen that crew of rowers on the “Teamwork” poster one too many times.
