SXSW Music and Film Schedules Released

The schedules for Film and Music are up on the SXSW website. As always, the schedules are subject to change. Many of the band schedules are still missing times, but most do have profile information and mp3s to sample, including my own.

Film passes went on sale this morning at Waterloo Video.

While you’re surfing for info on the SXSW music festival, check out the “Official” tags for SXSW 2006 at my employer, Shadows.com. Even if you’re not interested in tagging or Shadows, there are links there to official and unofficial websites for the bands.

Most of ’em, anyway — we’re at 95% and counting, but it’s damned hard to Google for bands with names like “AM” and “Vietnam”. And if you know of a good site for Insect Sex Act, I need to hear about it pronto.

Digging further, I see that SXSW now has pages up even for the ungoogleable bands, so we’ll add more tagging goodness as quickly as we can. (Type faster!)

Meanwhile, let’s listen to some Insect Sex Act.
