Peas, please

This is the very best year in a long, long time for English peas. After one semi-disappointing batch (billed as organic and from a nearby location, sold at Central Market), green pearls have abounded at the South Austin Farmers’ Market (organic and local), and the yard has been producing like crazy as well. This is not merely a matter of supply; it’s great texture, bright color, and sweet flavor. So be on the lookout. And be early, or all will be sold out. Next up will be asparagus.
