Turbonegro cancels SXSW?
Rumor has it that the scandinavian leather rock gods, Turbonegro, are bailing on their Emo’s showcase next Friday (here’s the original, in Finnish Norwegian). I hope it’s not true. Say it’s not true.
Turbonegro have cancelled their show at the South By Southwest music fair in Austin, TX, USA.
Happy Tom explained in Dagbladet : “We were supposed to headline the last night of SXSW at Emo’s but decided to priorize our holidays and preparing for our next album. We played two sold-out shows one night at Emo’s 10th anniversary last year, and we don’t feel an enormous urge to travel back again. And because the SXSW is so hyped and boring too. We prefer to play in Austin when the normal folks of this city are allowed to come.”
Gotta like that they want to play to the usual home crowd though.

Fuck yeah!
Dungen are added.

Where are the comments Ray and I posted?
It’s true. They cancelled.
