Yesterday I took my son to see “How To Eat Fried Worms”, based on the book by Thomas Rockwell, which my son hadn’t read (probably because it didn’t have Star Wars in the title). The movie is a must see for kids who attend Zilker Elementary, since half of the movie was shot at the school, and the rest was shot in and around Austin. Of course my son loved the movie since Zilker is his school. It was decent enough for me, but I have to admit I liked it a lot more than I would have if it wasn’t filmed at Zilker. Zilker Elementary is trying to set up a screening of the movie at the school for the kids, which of course would be very cool. Looking for worm recipes, and info on the book, go here.
