Ask the candidates

Submit your questions, one for each of the four “major” gubernatorial candidates, and maybe somebody will fire one at one or more of the following: Bell, Friedman, Perry, or Strayhorn (note alphabetical order), on Texas Monthly Talks. Beginning Monday, September 25, these four (not necessarily in alphabetical order) are scheduled to answer questions individually in special one-hour programs. September 25 is the first taping date; watch local schedules for air dates, all of which of course will occur before Election Day (November 7: are you registered to vote?). Include your name and city in the e-mail, which should be sent by this Friday, September 22. Any questions for Werner the Libertarian or for write-in candidates you’ll have to ask directly; they’re not on the schedule.

When is the Government of the state of Texas gooing to exercise it’s duty to provide the citisens with a voting system that is honest and respectfull of the individual’s choise? Local Government’s have sabatoged and munipulated the vote for so long that most Texans fell their vote does not matter, this impacts the elections all the way to the federal level. Let’s work on an honest system that respects the people and their choise.
