Tim was born and raised in Dallas, a city he abandoned permanently for Austin soon after starting college at UT. Except for a two-year sojourn in NYC, he's been in Austin for over 18 years and doesn't foresee leaving anytime soon. His first experiences with Teh IntarWeb were sneaking into the UT computer lab and using his roommate's CS account to play Nightfall in 1991 and getting an e-mail account at St. John's in 1993 where he promptly subscribed to an MTV newsletter that included Adam Curry's enthusiastic musings about something called the World Wide Web. When he's not chasing after his two kids, slinging code for a local mobile software company, hosting/coding local band and bar websites, fostering a second career as a drummer or writing for his own blog you can find him posting here.
