OK- I hate to use this forum for anything political, because honestly I hope everyone interested in Austin or living in Austin feels welcome here, but right now I am nervous. I went to an election party/show tonight- the music was great, friends were there, but the televisions looming in the corners overpowered everything else and just took all of the fun out of things. I have never felt this nerve wracked about an election, and it feels strange. I voted, and tried as hard as I could to get others to vote. But, as of now, I have to go to bed and let things unfold as they will. It will be a night of uneasy sleep I know, but I have to sleep now. I have to put an end to the day. I hope when I wake up I will hear good news, I do. But right now I feel totally defeated, kinda like the good guys lost.

If I offend any readers, I truly apologize. Tear me up in the comments. I hope I wake up and I”m wrong. AND- I promise I won’t ever go political on you again. I just had to vent…
