Dazed
Louis Black, editor of the Chron, offers himself up to be interviewed at length by the editor and publisher of Austin Daze. The Daze, which prints about 15,000 copies every two months, also sponsors 1st Thursdaze at Ruta Maya. This month, Leeann Atherton (she of the barn dances) and Toni Price (she of the Continental hippie hour every Thursday) will headline, Leeann at 9 pm and Toni at 11 pm. The current issue isn’t yet on line but eventually will be. I think this is the longest interview the Louis Black has given to anybody. One question that was not asked is: “Why does the Chron use a typeface that’s so light on the page?” Another is: “Do you think that your year of birth (1950) has anything to do with the growing stodginess of the Chron?”
