Martha’s Release Party, which was held at The Work*Shop, topped the talk of the office today…

Many co-workers were invited and; alas, had to decline due to their prior obligations. I, on the otherhand not a crafter at all simply could not want to miss and opportunity to celebrate Martha’s release from her unjust sentence! I not only attended this event, I also participated in a couple of the competitions. Fabulous food was prepared and served in true “Martha” fashion as we were treated to mimosas, punch and other highbrow snacks!

The folks at http://www.theworkshopaustin.com were a delight to visit with and they provided an enjoyable afternoon complete with entertainment and inspiration.

Back at the office chat was kept lively on this Monday… as well as people inquired about the party itself, my crafting ability (or lack of)… their crafting ability (or lack of)… the just or unjustly treatment of Martha… and on and on!

Thanks for the information Austin Metro-Blogging.
