A new Austin Metblogger
Happy New Year, y’all, and thanks to Tim for inviting me to write for Metroblogging Austin.
By way of introduction, I’ve lived in Austin since 1992. Other than a few years in San Francisco, I’ve spent almost my entire adult life in Texas, either in Austin or in Houston, where I went to college. I was born in Boston but grew up in New Orleans and I consider it my hometown.
I’m a software geek and startup addict, and live in the Hancock neighborhood just south of the old golf course with my wife, two kids, two cats, and a dog. I’m pretty much obsessed with food, especially seafood, naturally, given where I’m from.
I’ll be posting something about our First Night experience in the next day or so; in the meantime, my regular blog is over here.
Rock on, Ray, good to see you gettin’ an audience worthy of your skills.
Congratulations Ray!
Welcome, Ray!
Just landed here for the first time, but look forward to checking it out on RSS. Regards from West Texas.
Congratulations!!
