All the best parts are in the trailer

havahank.jpgBut that doesn’t mean that they can’t be enjoyed a second time. You, Me and Dupree is not for those who don’t like Owen Wilson. Matt Dillon and Kate Hudson aren’t given much to do, and Michael Douglas phones it in. There isn’t much direction or any reason this couldn’t be a TV movie or a pilot for a sitcom (premise: misfit third wheel joins household of newlyweds). But that shouldn’t keep anyone from this light entertainment. There’s even one very funny sequence that is not in the preview. Since this is playing everywhere at every possible time, anybody who wants to see it on impulse will be able to do so without waiting. Sidney S. Liufau, as Paco, the security guy, really threw himself into it. For one brief moment, he even got to display his martial arts. All that remains to be said is that Lance Armstrong makes a brief speaking appearance, his book is puffed, and Owen Wilson is seen wearing a Hav-A-Hank lavender bandanna tied headband-style, just like the ones sold at Slack’s Riverside Chevron.
