Alamo Drafthouse is Blogging
Not sure how I missed this one, but Alamo Drafthouse has added a blog. Even better, they’re posting trailers to YouTube. Brilliant! Now if we can just get them to overhaul that damn frames-based site, I’ll be in heaven.
BoingBoing gave our favorite theater some link love today since they’re showing Lost Vegas: The Lounge Era on January 8th.

Man, I have to take the blames for the frames. I built the frame set almost 10 years ago, knew it was bad about 9 years ago, and it’s still not changed. Look for some big sweeping changes on the originalalamo.com site in the next couple of months though. We have a new ticket backend to launch in January, some cool community features in February and then, at long last, the death of the dreaded frames.
