A Great Cuppa
Last weekend, when the weather was atrocious, I had to run errands, including purchasing tea for an upcoming tea-themed baby shower that I’m hosting. So I went to Tea Embassy, a place I’d been only once before, but that first trip was all it took for me to fall in love. The shop is in an old house, which serves as the perfect backdrop for the gorgeous and varied teapots and tea services they sell. They also serve samples of the teas they sell, and those hot, delicious teas were the perfect antidote to such a dreary day. I got lots of help from the wonderful staff to select great teas for the baby shower and to select my very own teapot, and I left with three great teas to serve, instructions on how to prepare each tea, and ideas on how to serve them. I’d love to go to one of their special afternoon tea events sometime, but I think I’ll have to wait until after all my hostessing and wedding duties calm down. I highly recommend a visit to this store and a conversation with the staff. Whether you love tea or dislike tea, you’ll learn something new and be able to try something delicious.
