Central Market’s Aisle 22

Saturday morning is our grocery shopping day. Typically we head over to Central Market at Westgate just as it opens to beat the weekend rush. Not today, though. The Westgate location has opened a wine and cheese bar, A 22. You can order wine by the glass or take a “flight”: five samples of wine designed for comparison. Pair that with a cheese flight and you might forget took pick up that carton of milk you came in for.

Today, Texas Hills Vineyards is in the spotlight from noon to 3pm, then Flat Creek Estate takes over from 3 to 6pm.

Do drinking and grocery shopping mix? We’ll see. And we’ll be listening for that announcement, “Clean up in aisle 22.”

What were the prices like? Did it seem worth it, or overpriced?

Did you try any of it yourself, was it good, or?

    :)
