You can catch a glimpse inside the creative workspaces of these fine artists, craftspeople and creative mavens. There are eight different, diverse and vibrant studios to choose from, the Bouldin Creek Studio Tour offers the community a chance to discover unique treasures for holiday gift giving while supporting local businesses. And there’s no reason not to combine the Bouldin tour with the Travis Heights Art Trail, sheduled for the same days, just one neighborhood to the east: Saturday and Sunday, 11 am to 5 pm. These are both opportunities to tour the houses and studios in these neighborhoods, get some righteous exercise and fresh air, and finish up your gift-shopping for the remainder of the year and on into 2009, soon upon us. The artists and craftspeople on both these tours are not amateurs and this is a good way to avoid the crush of the giant bazaars.
